Headroom Listening Sessions launched in September 2016 at Flash Nightclub in Washington. D.C. founded by Chadwick Wilson. These sessions gave music producers the opportunity to test their new music on a world-class sound system in a relaxed, happy-hour-style setting.

For Chadwick, the goal was always bigger- elevating music production knowledge, boosting creativity, and fostering collaboration within the electronic dance music community.

In 2018, Ryan Michael Robbins attended a Headroom Listening Session at Flash and was immediately drawn to its ethos. Seeing its potential for growth. he proposed expanding to San Francisco, an idea Chadwick fully supported. In 2019. Ryan launched the San Francisco chapter at HALCYON Nightclub. After years of successful events and recognizing the need for a broader platform, he took the initiative to build Headroom Collective. Today, Headroom Collective is dedicated to expanding its reach, uniting and empowering electronic music producers worldwide.
